Cal and his dad would like to thank everyone for a great day of fishing. Even though a strong cold north wind blew all morning, Cal managed to catch his limit of trout. This is a picture of Cal and his dad with a monster rainbow trout that Cal landed.

Youth Hunt A Success

Youth turkey hunt a success.John and Corey didn't score but I was told they had birds around them and they had a great time. On the other hand teams Fran and Sean - Ned and Alex, both scored nice birds. Ned reported that both birds were 20lbs with 9 inch beards.
     Fran had to leave after this hunt and head out for downtown Baghdad. I am sure that this made for a memorable hunt for both him and Sean.
      Good luck Fran and don't be afraid to send some camel meat back for the smoker. Camel Kielbasi anyone?

Turkey Season

     This years turkey season starts on April 24,2010 one day only  for Junior Hunters and Mentored Youth Hunters.( with required license )  The regular bearded season starts Saturday May 1, 2010 and runs until Monday May 31st.  You should also keep an eye out for these two problem Turkeys.
