Forgotten Buck / Bass are a Biting

In all the excitement of the firearms deer season I forgot to give credit to Scott on his trophy buck.

Scott used his trusty GMC Sierra to take this trophy.

Scott was quick to credit his 245/75/16 tires and the impact resistant plastic grill in the taking of this deer.
Congratulations Scott.

Bass continue to bite

Master angler Jim Ventured out on the ice and gave us some pointers on locating trophy fish.

Kevin studied Jim's expert techniques and produced this 20 3/4 inch 5 lb largemouth.

I emulated the teachings of Jim and managed to slide this 21 inch 5.2 lb largemouth through the ice.

All these bass where only detained for pictures and then released with the hopes that the next time they are caught they will be 6 pounds or larger.
Kevin quickly studied Jim's masterful techniques and produced this 5lb 20 3/4

Fisher

Ned sent me this picture of what looks like an extremely large fisher that was trapped locally.

190 Fishers were reintroduced into Pa. from 1994 to 1998 by the PGC. They are a member of the weasel family  and average 4 to 12 lbs. with an occasional one reaching 16 lbs. Fishers eat small mammals and reptiles but supposedly not fish.
