Safe Ice at Pond.

Even with the warm conditions recently we still had about 7 inches of good ice.

This advice was probably a good idea for most area lakes but did not apply here.

                                          Big Fish of the Weekend

Erik landed this 20.25 inch  4lb 7oz bass with a little assistance from the old timers.

Ned landed this 25 inch pickerel.

Panfish bite turned on for the first time this year. Erik said that he cleaned 47 fish and there was a few more caught after he left.

Alicia, our youngest fisherperson on the ice managed to out produce a couple of the veteran fishermen but I won't mention any names.

Ice Fishing Continues

Saturday was a good day on the ice and will provide many future fish tales.

Erik managed to land the biggest bass of the day at 3.65 pounds, 19.75 inches. You might want to ask Erik and D.J about the ones that got away though.

The Lake had a good 10 inches of ice and D.J. put a little fish drive on.

Sunday supplied a good number of flags in the AM. but slowed down in the afternoon. Someone came up with the bright idea to give the bass pond a try.

The ice turned out to be a little thin, almost 3 inches.

The beer was cold and the sun warm.

After a long tiring battle, Jug managed to land this 10 inch lunker.
