The January meeting,election of officers is rapidly approaching. The meeting is Sunday January 9th. at 1:00 PM.
Hard water fishing should be starting soon. Dave measured 2 inches of ice last week although the warm weather has greatly reduced that number this week.
This is a picture of my dad on the cover of the 1963 Pennsylvania Angler. The issue was devoted to educating anglers on ice fishing. The picture was taken while he was fishing on Hankins pond. He worked for the fish commission back in those days and would often get sent out to catch fish to be used in shows and commission programs.
