November Meeting

Time is really flying  archery deer, duck, early muzzle loader, small game, and soon turkey are keeping us busy. with all this activity don't forget to mark your calendar for Friday night, November 4th at 7:00 PM. for the next regular meeting.

This was the first day of duck season.

I thought we needed one deer pic. This little 6 pt. kept me company all afternoon and I hoped his father would stop by but no such luck.

Fall Work Day 10/2/ 2016

October Meeting

 The next regular meeting will be Friday, October 7th, 2016 at 7:00 PM. with the honorable Tom presiding.

   The fishing and hunting are starting to get interesting.

80th Anniversary Party

The Club celebrated its 80th Anniversary this year and thanks go out to Mark and Dave for a great job of putting a party together to celebrate this milestone.

                                               

     The first meeting was held Oct. 12, 1936 and was chaired by Carl Wuest. Dues were five dollars a year.

    The first regular meeting was held Sept. 23, 1937 with the following being elected:

Tom Sporer Sr. President (ironically his Grandson is the current President)

Ralph Weidner Secretary

Henry Mang Treasurer

    At the next meeting in October it was decided that a Vice-President was needed and Sid French was elected.

    We had four of the current seven senior members present at the event. Ralph (50 year member), Tom (50 year member), Bob, and Bill.

Missing that night where: Andrew A.K.A. Big Jim (50 year member), Alvin A.K.A. Bock, and Tony. Tony did show up after the photo was taken.

    Our somewhat unprofessional golf team showed up early and dazzled spectators with assistance from the Captain (Morgan)

Meeting Reminder

Reminder - There will not be a July meeting. The next regular meeting of the Club will be Friday, August 5th. at 7:00 PM.
