Coyotes

Sean and Kevin helped to reduce the coyote population during the rifle deer season this year.

It sounds like we may be getting some deer hunting competition from these predators.

2017 Rifle Deer Season

Jug started us out with this monster that Pooner had nicknamed Too Tall (the picture does not do this rack any justice).

Pooner took a long range shot on this large buck and scores.

Bob finished up the season on the last Saturday with this nice buck.

Rachel has taken buck the previous two seasons but that run has come to an end. She did manage to bag her first doe on the last Saturday of the season.

Approximately 8 doe were taken in the 17  rifle season.

The big Archery buck was Mead and the big rifle season was John. Mead's on the left is wider but John's is higher.

Archery 2017

Mead scores the last Thursday of the 2017 early archery season.

This was a tough buck to count the points on.
It was at least an 8, but there were other nubs that are close.

Talk about timing, Archery ended and the pond looks like this.
Got Bait?
