Second week of deer camp

The second week of camp ended with 3 doe and one buck taken off the club grounds.

Bobo culled this scrapie 6 out of the herd on the last Saturday up at the old twin hemlocks.

Mead took this nice 8 in Hoadleys. You will notice he is holding the horn on that fell off after the shot. There were numerous stories of bucks loosing horns early this year.

Chris ended the season with his famous tater tot and back strap feast.

The first week of deer camp.

The first week of the rifle season produced three nice buck and two doe at the club. Alex also stepped up to the plate at their farm with a nice buck.
     We had a surprise visit by a member on Saturday night .

Tom Took this nice 8 first thing Monday morning.

Johnny took this extra wide nine point out of his tree stand before the rain got to bad on Monday.

Tony did some fancy maneuvering and made a good shot on this nice eight point.

Alex took this nice eight on the first Saturday while taking a break from college exams.

 Ralph, is that you? Yes, he is still looking for his watch and whistle.

 I have a new pet kity at the condo and am having trouble getting a flea collar on it.

I thought it was a little late for nursing, but apparently not.

July / August Meeting

Due to the upcoming July 4th holiday there will be no July meeting. The next regular meeting will be Friday, August 6th at 7:00 PM. See you then.
